The Centre is the historical home and headquarters of the Southend Borough Football Combination,
and the Southend Borough Combination Veterans League.

It is also the playing 'home' for 13 local amateur football clubs (21 teams);
and the operational base for the Southend Radio Control Car Club; Eastwood Community Pre-school;
the MNO (a ladies social club); and Southend Hospital NHS Retirement Fellowship.

The facilities are available to hire for private social functions and special events.
 

The main pitch (with floodlighting and spectator seating) and the other four football pitches are in use at weekends from August to May, but are available for hire at other times subject to weather and site conditions.

The Function Hall is licensed for 110 guests, with comfortable seating and pleasant decor, and is suitable for family celebrations; business/club presentations; and formal gatherings.

The Centre (registered charity no 286873) is managed and maintained to the highest possible standards
within a limited budget, for the benefit of the local sporting and resident communities.
